A Catholic primary school has converted to become an academy.
St Mary's RC Primary School, in Canterbury Road, Kilburn, remains open educating youngsters following its conversion this month.
The school now operates under the All Saints Trust, which has five other primary schools across Brent and Harrow under its remit.
The other schools are Our Lady of Grace Catholic Junior School in Dollis Hill Lane and Our Lady of Grace RC Infant and Nursery School in Dollis Hill Avenue, both in Brent, and St Bernadette's Catholic Primary School in Clifton Road and St Gregory's Catholic Science College in Donnington Road in Kenton, Harrow.
St Margaret Clitherow RC Primary School, in Quainton Street, Neasden, is also a member of the academy trust.
St Mary's RC Primary School was rated 'good' by Ofsted in 2016 two years after the education watchdog rated it 'inadequate'.
It's last inspection was in 2019 where it continued to be a 'good' school where pupils were "proud" of their school and "valued" their teachers.
All Saints confirmed the conversion.
A spokesperson added: "The school has remained fully open and the way in which it operates on a day to day basis has not changed."
Ofsted said in its academy conversion letter: "On conversion to academy status, the existing school closes and a new school opens in its place.
"Although little may have changed, the academy converter is a new legal entity."
