Harrow Borough have announced a new sponsor – and it’s good news if fans are hoping for a little more bread.
Wenzel's the Bakers, a popular high street bakery, will sponsor the club's first team training kit and match day tracksuits for this and next season.
The sponsorship deal also includes pitchside and clubhouse advertising at The Rogers Family Stadium.
Peter Wenzel, chairman and founder of Wenzel's, said: "Wenzel’s the Bakers is proud to sponsor Harrow Borough Football Club, an institution that’s been at the heart of the local community for decades.
"This partnership reflects our deep commitment to supporting local initiatives that bring people together, foster community pride, and encourage wellbeing."
Nicolai Collins, the club’s first team goalkeeping coach and a regular Wenzel’s customer, said: "Finding sponsorship in Non-League football is challenging enough, but for us to find a sponsor who aligns with the club’s philosophy is fantastic.
"Everywhere I go in Harrow, I pass a Wenzel’s – a family-run business (born and bread) in London.
"As a club, our partnership with Wenzel’s is one we are proud of and hopefully there will be opportunities for us to collaborate and use the food-football alliance to support the local community."
