London has experienced a harrowing start to the week, marked by a series of shocking incidents, including a shooting that left a man and an eight-year-old girl injured.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The incidents unfolded between November 24 and November 28 in Bow, Muswell Hill, Leyton and Ladbroke Grove.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

An investigation has been launched by police after gunshots were reportedly heard in Bow.

The incident happened in Violet Road at the junction with Yeo Street at 2.55am today (November 28).

Officers were called to the scene and multiple cordons were put in place.

No one is believed be injured and no arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing.

A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Muswell Hill.

Police were called to reports of an assault in St James Lane just after 8pm yesterday (November 27).

London Ambulance Service crews also attended and found a woman who had been stabbed.

She was taken to hospital where her injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

A teenage boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

He was taken into police custody where he remains.

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a shooting in Leyton.

Officers were called to reports of gunshots heard in St George's Road at around 6.10pm yesterday (November 27).

London Ambulance Service crews also attended and found a man who had been shot.

He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and police enquiries continue.

An eight-year-old girl and a man was left “seriously” injured after a double shooting in Ladbroke Grove.

The child was injured along with a 34-year-old man after a gunman opened fire into their car in Southern Row at around 5.30pm on November 24.

The man suffered potentially life-changing injuries, while the girl’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 22-year-old man was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He has since been bailed to a date in early February pending further enquiries.

Police have now revealed a 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (November 26) on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He remains in police custody.
