RESIDENTS raised concerns with the leader of Harrow Council this week as part of a consultation on spending.
Councillor David Ashton took to the town centre to quiz members of the public about where it should spend money next year.
Some were positive while others felt there were areas which could be improved, and the feedback given will be taken into account when the budget is drawn up.
Cllr Ashton said: “One of the things we are trying to do is improve the borough year after year.
“Within Harrow People and within the Harrow Times we are basically asking people to comment on the three main priorities we have identified for this year.”
Councillors believe the main areas where residents want to see investment are in keeping the streets clean and safe, helping vulnerable people in society and strengthening communities.
Last year the authority began funding a town centre police force, held a series of festivals and street parties and increased spending on adult care by £6m over three years.
What do you think the council should spend money on?
