THREE people had to be rescued by firefighters after a flats above a pub in Kingsbury caught fire yesterday.
Fire crews were called just before 9am to a blaze which had broken out above Hennessys pub, in Kingsbury Road.
Two men and one woman were led to safety through the pub from the second floor flats, as firefighters moved into to tackle the fire.
By 10.30am the blaze had been brought under control, but had damaged part of the upstairs flats.
A section of Kingsbury Road was closed yesterday morning while the fire was tackle, and the cause of the blaze is now under investigation.
