A MAN was put through a “horrific ordeal” by robbers who stripped him naked, bound and gagged him, and threw him in a skip after stealing his money.
The 27-year-old was standing at a bus stop opposite the Adelphi Hotel, in Forty Lane, Wembley, when two men grabbed him and demanded money.
They forced him to remove all his clothes, tied his hands behind his back, and stuffed his own socks into his mouth when he tried to struggle free.
The robbers forced him to hand over his bank card and pin number, and while one man went to withdraw money, the other held him captive.
They then threw the man into a nearby industrial bin and threw rubbish onto him, leaving him with bruising to his body, before closing the lid and fleeing the scene.
PC Alecia Williams who is investigating the robbery, which happened on Wednesday, December 9 at around 4.15am, said: “This was a deeply traumatic and horrific ordeal for the victim, and we are treating this incident very seriously.”
She appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information to call 0208 733 3709 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The robbers are both black and around 25-years-old. One was wearing a black jacket, a light coloured scarf wrapped around his face, and light coloured trousers. The other man was wearing a black hoodie.
