A WEMBLEY man has been accused of having a gun in a street near the home of former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Kutjim Nurka, 56, of Danes Court, was charged on Tuesday, December 8, with possession of a firearm after being arrested in Connaught Street, Westminster, the day before.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court, on Wednesday, December 9, and was remanded in custody to appear at Southwark Crown Court, on February 12.
Mr Blair reportedly moved to the area in 2004, buying a £3.5m home in Connaught Square, adjacent to the where Mr Nurka was arrested.
