A GRIME DJ was among people shot at a warehouse rave in Colindale in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 23-year-old from west London, dubbed Werewolf, was hit in the chest and buttocks when someone opened fire at the rave celebrating the first anniversary of Grime Daily in Capitol Way.
He was rushed to hospital along with a 21-year-old woman who was hit in the back and arm and is understood to have undergone surgery. Police say neither suffered life-threatening injuries.
A 24-year-old man was also hit in the ankle during the shooting, which happened just after 4am.
An advert for the event on the Grime Daily website boasts “security will be very tight on the night”.
Police say they are keeping an “open mind” with regard to the motive of the shooting and three men were arrested and later released on police bail in relation to the incident.
Three men, two aged 22 and one 24, were arrested following a crash in the Edgware Road shortly after the shooting and have since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
