Chris Noyce is standing as the Liberal Democrat candidate in Harrow West, hoping to improve on previous unsuccessful bids in 2001 and 2005.
He was educated at harrow County Grammar School for Boys, and when to Oxford University before going on to study law in Guildford.
Chris is married and a solicitor by trade, having been in the business for 25 years. He says he currently works for a small practice in central London.
Chris is one of two Lib Dem councillors on Harrow Council, representing Rayners Lane ward, and has been on the council since 1986 except for a four-year break.
Following the 2002 election, Chris was the sole Lib Dem on the council, when his party's candidates were disqualified. Previously he had been the leader of the group when it was in minority control of the council.
Outside of politics, he says he enjoys reading books about history and foreign affairs.
