THERE have been no shocks so far in the first four Harrow Council wards to be announced.
The Tories have held on to their three councillors in each of the Pinner, Pinner South, and Canons wards - all wards they were expected to retain.
The Labour stronghold of Roxeth has again returned three Labour candidates.
The counting of the votes is continuing unabated, especially in marginal wards which could end up deciding the political direction of the council.
Initial reports are suggesting there could be shock defeats on the cards, judging by the votes counted so far.
Mayor of Harrow Eric Silver's Headstone North seat could be under threat due to the indepedent candidacy of James Bond, which appears to have eaten into the Conservative vote.
And in Kenton West, Tory Jeremy Zeid is defending a majority of just six votes and looks in danger of losing out this time around.
