A DRUG dealer has been jailed after a police search revealed crack cocaine in his underpants.

Mark Erharbor, 43, was sentenced on Thursday after being caught with 59 wraps of class A drugs in his underwear after police spotted him with a know addict in Watling Avenue, Burnt Oak.

Initially police found no drugs after searching Erhabor's outer clothing, but realised something was wrong when he became agitated and started putting his hands on the waistband.

They decided to perform a fuller search a Colindale Police Station and discovered 28 wraps of heorin and 31 of crack cocaine worth £500.

When questioned the Hendon resident said he had been given the drugs to sell by someone he owed money to.

Jim Kellett, the drugs intelligence officer at Colindale police station, said: “Drugs like Heroin and Cocaine bring misery, not only to the addict, but also to the many people who are victims of the crime that is fuelled by the addict’s addiction.

“These are dangerous and highly addictive drugs that do harm to both the individual and the wider community.

“We all pay for the activities of men like Erhabor. The prison sentence recognises the menace to our society and the need to keep it safe.”

Erharbour was sentenced to two years and two months at Wood Green Crown Court.
