TWO suspects seen trying to break into a Kingsbury house were chased through several gardens, say police.
The pair forced their way into the property, in Chapman Crescent, through the patio door, at around 2.35pm on Tuesday, February 1.
But when disturbed by police, they fled over garden fences and residents in Shaftesbury Avenue, on the other side of Kenton Road, reported seeing two men in their back gardens.
PC Joel Davies, of Brent's priority crime unit, said: "The suspects may have arrived on a moped or scooter.
“I also want to hear from anyone who saw people running through gardens in this area and close to Shaftesbury Avenue.
“Two men were arrested and have been charged with burglary and criminal damage. They remain in custody."
A Gilera scooter was found in the driveway of the house in Chapman Crescent.
