ARMED burglars who broke into a Harrow house last Friday and held two people at gunpoint before stealing their car are being hunted by police.

The two suspects got into the victim's home near Woodhall Gate, in Pinner, at around 8.30pm, by pretending to be interested in an advert he had placed in a car magazine for his Audi RS4. One of the men then pulled out a revolver-type gun and pointed it at him.

The suspects used gaffer tape to tie up the victim and a woman by the ankles and wrists, and made them lie face down on the floor of the living room before covering their heads with pillowcases.

They then spent 20 minutes searching the house before taking both sets of keys for the car, discovered two hours later in Wedgwood Road, Luton.

A silver 15-inch Mac Book, Blackberry mobile phone, Nokia mobile phone, and a valuable Rolex watch were also stolen.

The suspects gained the victim's trust by first visiting his house last Wednesday to view the car, before returning on Friday afternoon to take it for a test drive.

The first suspect is described as a very dark-skinned black man, clean shaven, aged in his late 30s to early 40s. He is of medium build, around 5ft 9ins tall, and spoke with a London accent. He was wearing a navy blue tracksuit with white Adidas stripes down the sleeves, a black beanie-style hat and black suede trainers with black laces.

The second suspect is a light-skinned mixed-race man, clean shaven, aged 18 to 22, of slim build and 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a dark blue hooded top and dark-coloured trousers. He spoke with an English accent.
