HATCH End has become the second ward to get a Neighbourhood Champion on every street.
Harrow Council's initiative, based on neighbourhood watch, aims to have trained volunteers acting as the eyes and ears of the authority, looking out for problems that need solving.
Wealdstone recently became the first area to have a champion on every street and Hatch End has been announced as the second.
Councillor Susan Hall, leader of the opposition Tory Group, helped pioneer the scheme when part of the previous administration.
She said: āIām thrilled to bits by this news, both as a member of the administration that launched Neighbourhood Champions, and a Hatch End councillor.ā
