CHARITY fundraisers are holding two events next weekend to raise money for a Harrow hospice.
On Saturday March 12 classical music enthusiasts at the Harrow Symphony Orchestra will be putting on a concert, with all money raised going to St Luke's Hospice.
The hospice in Kenton Road, which costs £3 million a year to keep open, provides care for people with cancer and other serious diseases, and looked after around 500 new patients in 2010.
The orchestra will play pieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Brahm during the evening at St John's The Baptist Church in Sheepcote Road, which begins at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £12, or £5 for concessions. To book, call Esther on 0208 838 8023 or click here - tickets will be first come first served.
The hospice are putting on their own fundraising event earlier in the day, with a book and cake sale at the day care lounge at the hospice from 10am.
All the books will be brand new and sold for £1, while there will also be cakes, tea and coffee for sale.
