Would you agree that pensioners in the borough are equally important as forests?
I have been fighting for many years to ensure pensioners receive an adequate basic state pension and ask for your help in creating awareness of the following website to ensure pensioners no longer have to endure poverty, as many do, and most importantly, no longer have to choose between eat or heat.
A retired married couple receive a minimum of £300 per week and David Cameron has stated the basic state pension will be linked to earnings. My aim is to collect at least a million signatures to present to 10 Downing Street on behalf on all pensioners within the UK.
May I ask Times Series readers to sign the petition, as no doubt they signed, or objected to the sell-off of our forests. In this case, we are not talking about trees, but human beings.
Now is the chance to make your voice heard and for pensioners to be recognised and live with dignity.
The petition can be found at http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/voice-of-the-pensioners.html
