THE children will get a cricket masterclass from a West Indies batsman today.
Alvin Kallicharran will be at Kingsbury Library, in Kingsbury Road, for two hours from 2pm and will be passing on his years of wisdom to nine to 15 year olds.
Sarah Smith, Brent's Library Co-ordinator, said: “We're thrilled to have a legend like Alvin Kallicharran coming to show his support for the cricketing course.”
There will also be the chance to sign up for Saturday afternoon cricket and sports sessions, which start on March 12 and run until April 16 at the Kingsbury High School sports hall.
Places are limited and anyone wishing to take part will have to book, by calling 0208 937 3707, or visiting www.brent.gov.uk/cricket.
Tickets cost £10.
