PEOPLE from faiths groups were given an opportunity to share crime concerns after officers visited places of worship in Brent last week.
Safer Neighbourhood Teams visited 42 places of worship during Worship Week, which ended last Friday.
Each team held surgeries and provided crime prevention advice during the visits.
PCSO Sharmila Stavrou, community engagement and cohesion officer, said: “It was a good success for all those who took part with the teams, also having an opportunity to reach those who may not otherwise have come into contact with the local police.
“We have over 90 places of worship in Brent. This is an event that will be repeated so every place of worship on the borough will be visited by their Safer Neighbourhoods Team.”
