A WEMBLEY school hopes to put itself at the heart of education in Brent with the help of a charity.
Being part of a network of Futurelab schools will bring new technology into Copland Community School, in Cecile Avenue, and will work with the charity on its curriculum.
Graeme Plunkett, headteacher at the specialist science and technology college, said he was “delighted” with partnership and wanted to “share best practice and provide significant resources, training and support to help Brent schools”.
He said: “Joining the growing Futurelab Hub network marks an important step forward in Copland's transformational strategy to develop independent learners and responsible citizens: students who are ready for the challenges of the 21st Century.
“We are delighted to confirm Futurelab as our professional partner and are looking forward to the opportunity to accelerate and share our plans to improve teaching and learning, curriculum design and student engagement.”
