A CHARITY is organising a fund-raising walk for Mother's Day this Sunday.
In its fifth year, the 15:1 walk, organised by St Luke's Hospice, is inviting mothers and their children to take part.
St Luke’s looks after people with cancer and other serious progressive illnesses, such as motor neurone disease and heart, lung and kidney failure.
Walkers on the one-and-a-half mile walk will start and finish at Our Lady of St Thomas and Canterbury Church, in Roxborough Park.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, the charity will have homemade cakes on offer after the walkers return from their route. Entry costs £5 for adults and £4 for concessions.
