A MAN ransacked an Edgware woman's home as she stood helplessly in a neighbours house, police say.
The victim fled her house, in Merlin Crescent, at 12.08pm on Wednesday, March 30, after seeing the intruder, described as about 19 and roughly 5ft 7inches tall, banging on her garden door.
She ran into her neighbour's house where they called the police but by the time officers arrived at 12.32pm the teenager had left empty handed, in a black Mercedes car parked opposite.
Anyone with information can contact officers on 0300 123 1212, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
