POLICE are appealing for help in identifying a man committing a violent assault captured on CCTV at a restaurant in Harrow.
The man was in Gana Restaurant, in Rayners Lane, when the assault took place at 11.50pm on Wednesday, October 6, last year.
A 34-year-old man received a serious head injury that required medical treatment following the attack.
PC Dave Moscrop from Harrow Police said: "This appears to be an unprovoked attack on a complete stranger.
"The Gana Restaurant is a Sri Lankan Restaurant in Village Way East, Rayners Lane and we believe that this man is from north west London.
"He is a well-built Asian man, approximately 5' 11" tall with short black hair and a beard. He was wearing trainers, blue jeans and a light blue shirt at the time."
