HARROW Museum will be holding a medieval anniversary celebration today to mark 25 years at the historic site.

Falcon displays, a knight’s tournament, jesters and jugglers are some of the festivities lined up for the May Day celebrations.

Free tours of the historic Manor House, Headstone Manor, in Pinner View, built in 1310 will be available and the Medieval Combat Society will be on hand to showcase a knight’s tournament.

Harrow Museum's other historic listed buildings will also be open to the public today.

The 500-year-old Tithe Barn currently hosts the Let's Play exhibition, which uses the museum's collection of toys to show how play has changed through the ages.

The gates open at 12pm and close at 5pm. The museum is usually free to the public during opening hours but an entrance fee will be charged of £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and 12 to 16-year-olds and children under 12 going in for free.
