RESIDENTS can put on their dancing shoes and party to music from the forties to raise money for charity next week.
The swing night will be held at the Zoroastrian Centre, 440 Alexandra Avenue, in Harrow, and will be raising money for St Luke's Hospice.
Entertainment will be provided by big band Gregg McCann and the Hands of Jazz and Martin Ellis & Ruth of Swingland will be providing live dance demonstrations at the event.
St Luke’s looks after people with cancer and other serious progressive illnesses, such as motor neurone disease and heart, lung and kidney failure.
The night takes place on Saturday, May 7, from 7 to 11pm.
Tickets cost £25 each or £250 for a table of 10 and the price includes a fish and chips supper.
