Three schools in Harrow won a librarian for a day, in celebration of World Book Day.
Pupils at St Bernadettes, in Clifton Road; Longfield, in Dukes Avenue, and Stag Lane, in Collier Drive, won the librarians after they entered an open competition run by Harrow’s library service.
The visits will be held this week to mark World Book Day on Thursday, and will include story-telling and reading.
Harrow’s Schools Library Service will also visit other schools this month, to encourage younger people to get their noses stuck into books.
