A Neasden drug dealer who was part of a criminal trio found with £1million worth of cocaine has been jailed.
Paulo Poeira, 29, of The Rise, was part of a drug dealing network discovered when police raided a house in Woolwich where he and two other men had stored 6kg of the Class A drug.
The gang’s dealing first came to light when officers found Poeira in possession of 125g of cocaine in his car after a meeting with John Paul Emenneh in a Hanger Lane car park last September.
When Emenneh could not account for £40,000 he was found with after a trip to Birmingham in October, detectives raided the property in Woolwich where they found the huge haul of drugs, along with cutting agents, £2,000 in cash, drug packaging equipment and Paul Arinzechi, who denied any knowledge of the cocaine.
At the Old Bailey today, Poeira was jailed for three years after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
Emenneh, 37, and Arinzechi, 42, of south-east London, were also jailed after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine.
Detective Constable Gavin Collins said the three men’s drug dealing was “fuelling serious youth violence” in the capital.
He added: “Their prison sentences should go some way in reassuring the public that we are dedicated to removing drugs and those supplying them from the streets of the capital, including targeting their financial assets.”
