A Pinner independent school is celebrating after an increase of A* grades and a 100 per cent A-level pass rate.
At Heathfield School for Girls in Beaulieu Drive, 13 per cent of students who opened brown envelopes this morning achieved at least one A* grade, with 69 per cent getting A*-B.
Outstanding pupils Alina Phoolchund and Khushboo Jain were both picked out by headmaster Anne Stevens.
Alina, 18, passed in five subjects with three A*s and two As, and will go on to study medicine at the University of Birmingham, while Khushboo passed four exams with three A*s and one B and will study dentistry at the same institution.
Mrs Stevens said: “We are very pleased to have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate at A-level and I would like to congratulate all the girls on their hard work and wish them well for their future.”
