Harrow Borough's slump continued after they suffered their fourth consecutive defeat.
The Reds went down to a 2-0 loss at Enfield Town in the Ryman Premier on Tuesday night which left them 17th in the table.
Dave Anderson’s side made a promising start to the match and tested home goalkeeper Daniel East from Yassine Fehmi-Gil’s free-kick.
The home keeper was again forced into another excellent save from Danny Buckle’s effort on the turn.
The impetus switched towards the hosts in the second half and they made their pressure count with the opener after 66 minutes.
Former Boro midfielder Jonathan Hunt struck a long-range effort which keeper Elvijs Putnins could only help into the net.
Michael Peacock had an opportunity to equalise for Boro but his header failed to trouble the keeper.
Enfield sealed the three points with their second goal after 74 minutes.
A dreadful backpass from Danny Leech put Putnins under severe pressure and the keeper tried to beat Adam Wallace but lost the ball and the home attacker was left with an empty net to finish off the match.
Four of the five sides below Boro have games in hand on them and it looks like being another long season for Anderson’s side.
The Reds were also beaten 2-0 at home to Margate in the league on Saturday.
Boro again started brightly but the only time they tested visiting goalkeeper Craig Holloway came when he denied Simeon Akinola.
Margate took the lead seven minutes before the break when Leech misjudged a free-kick and Tommy Whitnell made no mistake with a powerful finish.
The visitors doubled their lead midway through the second half when Carl Rook’s header was parried by Putnins but Richard Avery hammered in the rebound.
Anderson will be looking to end their losing streak this weekend when they travel to face Lewes.
