Harrow Borough are looking to bounce back from Southern League Premier South defeat against Weston with the chance to progress in two cup competitions this week.
They host a local derby with North Greenford United in the quarter-final of the Middlesex Senior Cup tonight (Tuesday, 7.45pm), followed by the visit of FC Halifax Town of the National League in the fourth round of the Isuzu FA Trophy on Saturday (3pm).
Borough reached the final of the Middlesex Senior Cup in 2019, losing to Brentford B, and it’s the first time they have gone this far in the FA Trophy since 1992.
"It’s a great opportunity to reach a semi-final and possibly a final," said manager Steve Baker ahead of the North Greenford tie.
"We will certainly not be underestimating them as they beat Hendon in the last round and there’s the added factor of us having a few of their ex-players (George Moore, Billy Leonard and Kai Omoko Brosnan).
"We’re expecting it to be a really tough game."
After beating Concord Rangers of National League South in the second round of the FA Trophy, Harrow face another step up against FC Halifax Town.
"The draw had already been made before the Swindon Supermarine game [in the third round] and it was a massive incentive for both teams," added Baker.
"Since then, some of the players have said it will be the biggest game they’ve played in, which I love as it says what it means to them and they know what they’ll be up against.
"It’s the biggest game we’ve had since Portsmouth [in the FA Cup in 2021] and as we’ve seen before, any extra support will really help the team."
Admission prices for the North Greenford tie are £8 Adults, £4 Seniors & Students, £2 U16s, with U12s gaining free entry with a paying adult. Cash and card are accepted on the gate.
For the FC Halifax Town encounter, admission is £12 Adults, £6 Seniors & Students and £2 for all U16s, with tickets available in advance at https://harrowboroughfc.ktckts.com/ as well as cash and card on the gate.
