Harrow Borough manager Jordan Berry knows his side are FA Cup underdogs this weekend, but is looking forward to taking on league rivals and promotion hopefuls Bracknell Town.
The teams meet in the competition’s first qualifying round on Saturday with the aim of reaching the first round proper and facing Football League opposition.
They met at the same stage last season, with Bracknell progressing and eventually losing to Ipswich Town in the first round.
Looking ahead to the tie, Boro boss Berry said: ‘'It's going to be a hard, tough tie. You probably couldn't get any tougher in terms of what they did in the FA Cup last season, so no doubt
they'll be at it.
"But it's a free hit for us, it's the FA Cup where anything can happen and league form goes out the window. It's how you play on the day and I'm really looking forward to it as it's a home draw."
With a new manager, coaching team and squad, Boro are still finding their feet in the league, but shared the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 local derby with Hendon on Bank Holiday Monday.
Tickets for the tie are available on the gate with cash and card accepted, and are priced at £12 Adults, £6 Concessions and £2 Under-16s, with Under-12s admitted free with an accompanying adult.
