Wealdstone extended their unbeaten run to seven Ryman Premier games this week but also lost the services of prolific striker Richard Jolly.
The Sutton forward has returned to the club after his loan spell with Wealdstone which resulted in seven goals in ten games.
Stones boss Gordon Bartlett said: “We knew we only had him for a month but his spell with us has undoubtedly served its purpose.
“We have won five games and drawn two with him here and he has scored a hatful of goals. Our confidence has come back and he has been a major factor in giving us a boost.”
The Stones earned a 3-1 win at Kingstonian on Saturday. Wealdstone took the lead after eight minutes following a spectacular 30-yard strike from Kurtney Brooks.
Wealdstone extended their advantage ten minutes later when Peter Dean finished smartly.
The hosts pulled one back in the second half but a late penalty from Dean sealed the points.
Bartlett added: “I was delighted with the performance. Some of our football in the first half was outstanding and we could have easily been three or four goals up. Our passing and movement was excellent.
“In the second half they scored and changed the game but I was delighted with our character and resilience. I thought so many facets of our game were excellent.”
The Stones face a busy week with a home game against Cray Wanderers on Saturday followed by a clash at rivals Harrow Borough on Tuesday night.
