Highly-rated Watford striker Gavin Massey will be joining non-league side Wealdstone on loan until the end of the season.
Massey is only a second-year scholar but has already made four substitute appearances for the Hornets first team and was a target for Liverpool before signing his professional contract last year.
The 18-year-old will still train with Watford during his loan spell with the part-time side, who are chasing a play-off place in the Ryman Premier.
Massey is following in the footsteps of fellow Watford Academy graduates John-Joe O’Toole, Theo Robinson, Billy Gibson and Marvin Sordell in joining Wealdstone, who are managed by Gordon Bartlett.
