Harrow Borough manager David Howell felt his side lacked a cutting edge during their 3-0 defeat at Lowestoft Town.
Howell’s side never really got going in an attacking sense and limped to a disappointing defeat in Kenta Nakashima’s final game for the club.
Howell said: “We were lacking in the final third. The front four had an off day and I think we lacked a cutting edge.
“It was a setback but in the past the team has shown spirit to bounce back and come through adversity.”
The Reds face a crucial weekend with a home game against second-placed Tonbridge Angels before taking on Wealdstone on Monday.
